- Comments Off on Full Sound System – Golf Cart
This customer brought his brand new custom built golf cart to us because the sound system was not performing anywhere near its capabilities (it had 6 speakers and an amp). After a quick examination of the installation, we found several issues that the golf cart manufacturer overlooked and/or did incorrectly. So we re-worked the whole audio installation.
A dedicated battery was utilized to supply power to the audio system and both wiring and system integration issues were addressed. Once we completed all the necessary work, the golf cart was looking and sounding beautiful!

- Comments Off on Amplifier + Tweeters – BMW 135i
What was supposed to be a BMW Certified Pre-Owned car slipped past the BMW mechanics that checked this very special 135i over (it has a Dual Clutch Transmission for you gear heads and not a common option for these cars). Their inspection neglected to reveal a very obviously placed aftermarket amplifier with very sketchy wiring installation which was apparently done by the previous owner.
The new owner came to us because of lack of audio. It turned out that the aftermarket amplifier was no longer functional and warranty/repair was not an option. We temporarily wired the car back to factory to get him going for the day and put together a plan to correctly implement the audio improvements that needed to be made. We decided that a modest 5 channel amplifier and proper automotive grade wiring would do the trick along with appropriate OEM integration pieces for the scope of his project. We also found that the high-end replacement tweeters were marginal and [...]

- Comments Off on Full Sound System + Navigation – Ford Fusion
A long-time customer came back to us to have their sound system removed in preparation for trading the car in for a newer one. We were able to utilize their amplifiers and initially were going to keep the subwoofer and enclosures but they decided on new subwoofers, a ported enclosure and grills to protect the drivers.
A new GPS receiver was also added to integrate with their smartphone and to ensure they have navigation at all times. Steering wheel control integration and a replacement factory panel were also included in their installation along with some vibration dampening material in the doors.

- Comments Off on Bluetooth Stereo + Speakers – 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS
This customer came to us wanting to upgrade the audio system in their husband’s Camaro as a surprise birthday present! We discussed a few options and arrived at the conclusion of needing smartphone connectivity to stream Bluetooth from an iPhone and replacing some very worn out speakers.
*Note: The before photo is the actual speaker removed from the car. If you have any doubt about your speakers’ health, come see us and let us check them before they get this bad! Many people don’t realize in how poor condition their old speakers are because they are hidden.

- Comments Off on Saddlebag Speakers – Harley Davidson
A customer brought their Harley Davidson motorcycle saddlebags to us wanting an economical solution to mount speakers in them instead of having to purchase custom lids. So, we modified their factory lids to fit speakers and wiring for both signal and power for the LED elements in the speakers.

- Comments Off on Bluetooth Radio + Subwoofer/Amp Combo – Volvo Wagon
After discussing the various car radio options and trade-offs, this customer decided to replace the ailing factory radio in their Volvo with a double-din radio. They chose a radio with Bluetooth connectivity so they could make hands-free phone calls, play music from their phone and much more.
They also decided to boost the sound quality of the vehicle by adding a size-appropriate subwoofer and amplifier combination to provide better bass response while not occupying too much space.
Note the concealed subwoofer/bass level knob in the OEM blank switch position. Sneaky, eh?
