Now the customer has a fully functioning backup camera!

- Comments Off on SiriusXM – 2006 BMW 750Li
The owner of this luxurious German machine spoke with the BMW dealer and they told him that their vehicle build was not eligible for a factory satellite radio. So they came to us for a solution.
We provided them with a few options and they decided to go with a simple satellite radio tuner with separate display instead of trying to integrate into the BMW i-Drive. Despite the challenges of the radio equipment being located all over the car, we were able to provide him with a solution that works where the dealer was not able.

- Comments Off on Navigation + Bluetooth Radio – 2006 Honda Accord
This customer wanted to surprise his daughter by getting a Bluetooth kit installed in her Honda Accord. A new option had just come onto the market which would allow for better signal quality to the OEM radio as well as interfacing with the steering wheel/radio controls.
With the push of a button on the steering wheel (or radio), you can accept, decline or switch a call to the handset. Voice control (Google Now or Apple’s Siri) for modern smartphones is also available where you can voice dial or ask Siri questions from the factory radio. Track names and Caller ID also appear in the OEM radio display. What a great way to integrate into the existing vehicle electronics!

- Comments Off on Subwoofer – 2015 Volkswagen Jetta
We see a common theme with the newer Volkswagens…sound quality (or quantity) doesn’t quite seem to be enough for the music enthusiast…
Having done some work for this customer’s vehicle (inverter installation), naturally, he came back a few days later after demoing some of our subwoofers. We ended up trying a couple of subwoofers in the trunk to find one that was both small and powerful enough for him.
He finally settled on a custom enclosure and carpet to match the OEM Volkswagen as closely as possible which we have made specifically for our current line of subwoofers. The amplifier and wiring were sized appropriately to ensure longevity and provide appropriate performance for subwoofer we selected together.

This customer wanted to his truck to have the ability to use both CarPlay and Android Auto since he uses both Apple and Android platforms. He went to other car audio shops and they all told him it wasn’t possible.
Well, we were able to think creatively and made it happen! We were even able to retain the Microsoft Sync and the factory USB port in the center console for him and use the factory SiriusXM antenna. He left with everything working exactly as he had visioned.

- Comments Off on Bluetooth Microphone – 2007 Corvette Convertible
This customer came to us for Bluetooth connectivity for his Corvette. He prefers to keep his vehicles as close to stock as possible, so we only added an inconspicuous little “green telephone button” and microphone to the cockpit of this fine sports car. Now he is able to play music from his iPhone and take phone calls as needed.

- Comments Off on Bluetooth Radio + SiriusXM – 2007 Jeep Wrangler
This customer came to us because their factory radio’s SiriusXM reception would have issues when the Jeep’s top was partially open. It also lacked Bluetooth connectivity.
To solve both problems, we replaced the factory radio with a CD/Bluetooth receiver (retaining the factory amplified sound system with subwoofer) and were able to also provide him with a superior location for the satellite antenna to ensure he could receive the SiriusXM signal with the top partially folded open.

- Comments Off on SiriusXM + iPod Integration – 2007 Lexus RX350
The factory radio on this particular Lexus is heavily integrated with the vehicle given it is a navigation unit, so replacement was not a great option. We came up with a solution for them to add both SiriusXM satellite radio and an iPod without using expensive Lexus parts. In this case, they are able to use the factory radio controls to tune and set presets for the SiriusXM and control their iPod.
